Description
Set a compatible fan lower beneath a tall ceiling with the 48-inch Matte Black WeatherMax downrod. The length is recommended for 13-foot ceilings, and its 3/4-inch steel body pairs a substantial extension with a finish that coordinates with Hunter and Casablanca fans.
Tapered threads and double-threaded construction provide deeper engagement. WeatherMax materials suit indoor, damp, and outdoor locations, including exposure to rain and water. Check the fan’s wiring reach; a separate 60-inch extension kit is available when additional wire is needed.
- • Recommended for 13-foot ceilings.
- • Compatible with Hunter and Casablanca fans except Hunter Original models.
- • For slopes greater than 34 degrees, a separately sold angled ceiling mount is needed.
Why Choose the Hunter 99742?
It adds a long, finish-coordinated WeatherMax extension for compatible fans while keeping wiring and angled-ceiling needs in view.
