Description
For a 12-foot ceiling, the 36-inch Matte Black WeatherMax downrod extends a compatible fan to a more suitable hanging height. Its 3/4-inch steel tube and coordinated finish suit Hunter and Casablanca fans that accept this downrod.
Tapered threads and double-threaded construction provide deeper engagement. WeatherMax materials are suited to indoor, damp, and outdoor locations, including direct exposure to rain and water. Check the fan’s wiring needs for this longer extension; Hunter offers a separate wire extension kit for greater reach.
- • The 36-inch length is ideal for 12-foot ceilings.
- • Compatible with Hunter and Casablanca fans except Hunter Original models.
- • For slopes greater than 34 degrees, a separately sold angled ceiling mount is needed.
Why Choose the Hunter 99741?
It combines a substantial 36-inch drop, coordinated Matte Black finish, and weather-ready steel construction for compatible fan installations.
