Currey and Company Ashanti Fertility Sculpture in Bronze - 1200-1104

The 1200-1104 Ashanti Fertility Bronze brings a striking, finely worked silhouette to a shelf or console. Its broad disk-shaped head and ringed neck draw on Ashanti ideals of feminine beauty, health, and wisdom, giving the sculpture a strong visual presence as well as cultural depth.

Formed with the lost-wax technique, the bronze surface preserves the sculptural detail while the compact 18.5-inch height makes the figure easy to place among collected objects. Its narrow footprint suits a smaller display area.
