RETURN POLICY

You may return any online purchase to us within 30 days of receiving it. Please note that sales of discontinued items, light bulbs, parts and accessories are final. Pending inspection, a refund will be issued to you for the value of the item including taxes. All shipping charges on returns are non-refundable. To ensure that your return is processed accurately and promptly, please call us first at 1-888-54-LITES.

A customer service associate will email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA)and instructions on how to ship the product back to us. Any returns sent without a Return Goods Authorization will not be accepted and will be returned back to the shipper.

Upon receiving the product together with original invoice and receipt, the merchandise will be thoroughly inspected.If determined to be in good condition we will issue a refund for the amount of the product and tax subject to the following:

(A) All items must be returned in manufacturers original packaging.

(B) No credit will be considered on any item that has been installed or tampered with.

(C) All shipping charges related to the original purchase as well as the return to Light Bulbs Etc will be for the account of the purchaser.

(D)Manufacturers charge a restocking fee of up to 30% for any item returned in the original packaging. Light Bulbs Etc has averaged the fee and therefore will charge a blanket 20% plus shipping on all authorized returns .

PRIVACY POLICY

In order to visit lightbulbsetc.com as a guest, you do not ever have to inform us of your identity. We will never ask you to register or to set up any sort of account.

However, when you use our online services such as an e-mail list,,creating a wish list or purchasing a product from lightbulbsetc.com, you agree to give us certain information about yourself, such as your name, address, payment information etc. for the purpose of processing your order. Without providing information like this you will be unable to order products on our site or use certain online services.

Please note that we will never sell or lease e-mail addresses to any third parties nor will we ever share the credit card information you provide to us with anyone other than your credit card bank.

FRAUDULENT CHARGE PROTECTION

Light Bulbs Etc. offers a "Safe Shopping Guarantee." If a third party obtains your personal information from a purchase made with Light Bulbs Etc. and uses that information to perpetrate credit card fraud, you are protected. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank may hold you liable for up to $50 of such charges. Should your bank hold you liable for any portion of the $50, lightbulbsetc.com will reimburse you this charge up to the $50 amount.

Light Bulbs Etc. will cover this liability if the unauthorized use resulted through no fault of yours from a purchase made on the Light Bulbs Etc. secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

BACKORDERED ITEMS

While we make every effort to ensure that all the products listed on our website is either in stock at one of our warehouses or at the applicable vendors warehouse listed merchandise in stock, occasionally an item could be backordered. In this event , we will e-mail you an update in a timely manner. At that time you will have then have the choice to proceed and keep the order in place or cancel it. No merchandise will be charged to your credit card until they are shipped.

SHIPPING CHARGES

We ship via all major ground carriers, including FedEx, UPS and USPS. Shipping and processing charges for all items are based on the item size, weight, delivery destination, or other factors. Occasionally for example when an item is too heavy or too large to be shipped via any of the carriers as listed above, we may need to have the item shipped via a trucking service. Depending on the circumstances sometimes the cost of shipping via this method could result in additional charges beyond our control. Before accepting your order we will notify you of any extra freight charges and at that time should not wish to pay for such charges you may cancel your order without any penalties.

Express delivery such as overnight, 2nd or 3rd day service is available on some orders for an additional charge. If not listed when checking out please contact our customer service at 1-888-54-LITES who will be happy to quote you of the particular service of your choice.

PO BOXES

An actual street address is required in order to ship all orders. We do not ship to PO Boxes

CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel or make changes to an order, by notifying our Customer Service at 1-888-54-LITES. You will receive an email notifying you of such change or cancellation. If the merchandise has already shipped and if we are not able to cancel the delivery to the carrier, you could be liable for the shipping charges and/or the applicable restocking fee.

DAMAGED ITEMS

A tremendous amount of effort and care goes into ensuring that your order will arrive in good condition however despite our best efforts, sometimes items arrive damaged. Should this happen please contact our Customer Service at 1-888-54-LITES immediately. Our policy is to replace those items immediately and arrange for pick up of the damaged item.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You can track your order via the carrier's shipping tracking system. Your shipping confirmation e-mail will contain a shipping tracking number for your use. Again, please note that it may take up to twenty-four hours from the time an item is shipped to the time information is available for viewing on the carrier's website.

When trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, you should consider the following:

Credit card approval must be received prior to processing. Ground delivery only occurs during business hours, Monday - Friday excluding holidays.
